Hand-Carved Wooden Hair Sticks

Used to hold your hair in place in a bun or other hairstyle, our hand-carved wooden hair sticks are made of Osage Orange, or Bois d’ Arc, an American native hardwood from the Midwest. The wood was used by number used by Native American tribes for bows that were valued as high as a good horse. Because of the durability and strength of the wood, you are probably going to loose your hair stick before it breaks. Hair chopsticks will darken with age and can be oiled with olive oil if they appear dry.
